Here at Frugal Families Green, we publish income earned from FrugalFamiliesGreen.com. As of right now, these reports will not be monthly. My goal is to eventually call it Monthly Income Reports, but for now I will call it extra income. It gives us a chance to reflect on the month when we earn income – what went well and what didn’t go so well. We hope you follow along on our journey of turning our blog into a business!
I will be discussing extra income, side hustles, side income. I, also work a day job where I work 28 hours per week. This job’s income will not be included in this. I believe by earning extra income when you can will help your quality of life. A person can stop living paycheck to paycheck, pay off their debt by earning extra money.
My goal is to be able to make income by the time I want to retire from my day job. As you know, social security may not be much of a security so I need a plan B. When I retire I want to be able to have something I have a passion for, be able to travel, and not worry where my bill and grocery money is going to come from.
The following numbers are gross income. Please see each respective report for more detail and net profit.
Below are my monthly extra income reports when I receive income for the month:
- January-April 2016 – $507.70
- May June 2016 – $153.81
- July 2016 – $67.32
- August 2016 – $78.32
- February 2017 – $71.20
